Promotion to Packages

The shared packages four products build on, and the promotion procedure deciding what moves there and when. Pieces every product has, such as badges, dropdowns and metric cards, had been redrawn by hand in each one, and since each worked well enough nobody ever filed it as a problem.

Lifted the pieces that were being rebuilt once per product into a shared core. Promotion is decided by handoff state rather than by case-by-case agreement, and a check blocks the edit when the list and the actual package layout disagree, so promotion is a result of the process rather than of diligence.
