Starzip Symbol

The symbol was a location pin; adding a star put both halves of the name into the picture. Star stands for reward and premium, Zip for the city and the real economy, and only the second half was drawn. The change was argued on five grounds: widening a meaning that read as a location service, tying the name to the mark, shedding the navigation-app impression, the star being the easier shape to animate, and holding up at small sizes. Lockups, clearspace rules, and app icons were settled in the same pass.
